Six Account Types and Custom Categories

Last updated: 2026-10-27

Money Tracker keeps every account in a single ledger, so the balance on your home screen is the real total rather than a per-account number you have to add up yourself.

Six account types

Cash, bank, credit card, digital wallet, investment, savings. Each account carries its own balance, its own transaction list, and a detail view showing the month's income, expense and latest entries. Mark one account as the default and the transaction form opens with it already selected.

Delete without losing

Removing an account does not destroy it. The account and everything attached to it moves to a "Deleted" section, where a single tap restores it. A mis-tap on the trash icon is never the end of your records.

Categories, ready-made and custom

The app ships with 8 expense categories and 4 income categories, already localised. Add as many custom categories as you need, each with its own colour and icon, so your own categories stand out in the list and in the statistics. System and custom categories live in separate sections of the manager, so the built-ins are never in the way of yours.

One category system for every account

Categories are shared across accounts. A "Food" entry in cash and a "Food" entry on the credit card are compared side by side in the statistics, which is the whole point of keeping them in one ledger: you see where money actually goes, not where it was booked.
