This Privacy Policy explains how Image to PDF ("the App") handles information about you. In short: your images and PDF files are processed only on your device. We do not collect, see, or sell them.
1. Local Processing, Files Are Not Uploaded
Every conversion feature in the App — image to PDF, image stitching, PDF to image, PDF merge, PDF encrypt, PDF decrypt — runs locally on your device. Your images and PDF files are never uploaded to our servers or to any conversion server. Results are saved directly to your device.
We do not sell your data, and we have no file data to sell.
2. Data Stored Locally
The following data is kept only on your device:
- Conversion history (operation status, duration, source and output formats, file size) stored in a local database on your device
- Output files from conversions, saved to the App's local directory until you share them out or clear the cache
- App settings (theme, language, etc.)
Because this data lives only on your device, we cannot access, view, or restore it.
3. System Permissions
- Photo Library: Used only when you actively pick images from your album. Used to read the images you select — we never bulk-read or auto-upload your album.
- Files: Used only when you actively pick images or PDFs from the Files app. Used to read the files you select.
4. Advertising
The App is supported by Google AdMob. Users who have not subscribed to Pro see rewarded ads when entering feature screens. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier where permitted by applicable law) to serve and measure ads. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
You can remove ads at any time by subscribing to Pro. Where required by applicable law, you can also limit ad tracking or reset the advertising identifier in your system settings.
5. Pro Subscription
Payment for the Pro subscription is handled by Apple App Store, and subscription validation and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. We never touch your payment information (card number, billing address, etc.) and we keep no payment credentials. Related transaction information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
6. Sharing
When you share a file through the App, it goes through the system share sheet directly to the destination you choose (Mail, AirDrop, Files, etc.). You stay in control. We cannot access these files, and we receive no notification.
7. Data Deletion
Because all data is local, deletion is thorough:
- You can clear the cache in App settings to delete output files and history from the App directory
- Uninstalling the App also deletes all local data on your device
This cannot be undone — please save important files elsewhere first.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children below the minimum age to enter into a contract under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice within the App or through the App Store listing.
