Freeform Crop
A screenshot with extra borders, a subject that's too small in the frame, an image that has to match a platform's specific aspect ratio — all of these call for cropping. Image Converter uses the system-level crop tool, with an intuitive interface and full functionality.
Common Cropping Scenarios
- Remove watermarks or borders: Screenshots and downloaded images often come with extra borders or white margins. Crop them away.
- Emphasize the subject: The subject is too small in the photo. Crop out the surroundings to make it stand out.
- Match a platform's ratio: Crop to 1:1 (avatars), 4:3 (horizontal banners), 16:9 (video covers), and other standard ratios.
- Adapt to social media: Turn a landscape photo into 9:16 for Stories, or a portrait photo into 1.91:1 for Weibo / X header images.
Fixed Ratios and Freeform Cropping
The app supports two cropping modes:
- Fixed ratio: Choose a common ratio such as 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, or 9:16. The crop frame locks to that ratio for fast, standard-sized output.
- Freeform: Drag any of the four corners of the crop frame freely. Ideal for irregular trimming.
Cropping Stays on Your Device
