This Privacy Policy explains how Image Converter ("the App") handles information related to you. In short: your images are processed only on your device, and we do not collect, see, or sell them.
1. Local Processing, No File Uploads
All of the App's processing features — format conversion, compression, rotation, cropping, resize, and stitching — run locally on your device. Your images are not uploaded to our servers or any conversion server, and the results are saved directly to your device.
We do not sell your data, and we have no image data to sell.
2. Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored only on your device:
- Conversion history (operation status, duration, source and output formats, file size), stored in a local database on the device.
- Output files from conversions, saved to the app's local directory until you save them elsewhere via the share sheet or clear the cache.
- App settings (theme, language, etc.).
Because this data exists only on your device, we cannot access, view, or recover it.
3. System Permissions
- Photo Library: Used only when you actively select an image from your library, to read the image you picked. The app never reads in bulk or auto-uploads your library.
- Files: Used only when you actively select an image from the Files app, to read the file you picked.
4. Advertising
The App is supported by Google AdMob. Users who have not subscribed to Pro will see rewarded ads when entering feature pages. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, where permitted by applicable law) to serve and measure ads. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy.
You can remove ads at any time by subscribing to Pro. Where required by applicable law, you can also limit ad tracking or reset the advertising identifier in system settings.
5. Pro Subscription
Pro subscription payments are handled by Apple App Store, and subscription verification and entitlement management are provided by RevenueCat. We do not see your payment information (card number, billing address, etc.), and we do not keep any payment records. Related transaction information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
6. Sharing
When you share files through the app, they are sent through the system share sheet directly to the destination you choose (email, AirDrop, Files, etc.). You stay in control throughout, and we cannot access these files or receive any notification about them.
7. Data Deletion
Because all data lives locally, deletion is thorough:
- You can clear the cache in App Settings to delete output files and history from the app's directory.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all local data on the device at the same time.
These actions are irreversible. Please save any important files elsewhere first.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children below the minimum age required to enter into a contract under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice in the app or through the App Store page.
