CleanPhoto is an iPhone app for clearing photo clutter without browsing thousands of pictures. It groups duplicates and similar shots, sorts old screenshots and videos by month, and keeps the highest-quality version of every burst so the rest can go in one tap.
Exact duplicates and similar shots
Photos taken in the same second with identical dimensions are treated as exact duplicates and grouped together. Photos taken within a few seconds of each other become a "burst" you can review at once. Each group is sorted by file size, so the largest and most detailed shot sits at the top. Keep it, clear the rest, move on.
Screenshots and videos, grouped by month
Every screenshot in your library is pulled out and grouped by day. Every video is grouped by the month it was shot. Both views exist because the cleanup pattern is different: screenshots pile up by the dozen in a single afternoon, videos pile up over months of family events. Pick the month, swipe through what you do not need, leave what you want.
Big files first
A separate view lists your largest photos and videos ranked by size. Most libraries hold the bulk of their weight in a handful of heavy files. Clearing those few items frees more space than combing through a thousand small ones.
Compression that keeps the picture
For photos you want to keep but not at full size, CleanPhoto shrinks the file to a fraction of the original while preserving dimensions and visible detail. The compressed copy lives next to the original, and the original is only removed after you confirm.
Contact deduplication
Contacts sharing the same name or number are grouped together and merged into one card. Every field from every duplicate is preserved during the merge, so nothing is lost.
Everything on your device
Scanning, grouping, similarity scoring, compression, and contact merging all run locally. Photos never leave your iPhone. The only network calls are rewarded ads and subscription management.
Free and Pro
Scanning, grouping, and reviewing are free. Pro subscribers delete immediately without ads. Free users watch a short rewarded ad before each deletion. Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store.
